Allow me to tell you a little about myself and the things that I will try to do for you on the following pages. My name is Ron or Ishta Sapa(Black Eyes) as I have been named by the Lakota people. I am 50 years old and have spent a great deal of my life learning the ways we can live in harmony with ourselves and the "Mother Earth". I have lived with Spiritual leaders from differant origins of this country and I have learned many things from Holistic healers over the past 30 years. I will attempt to share this knowledge with you, to the best of my ability. If you have a particular problem that you feel I might be able to help you with then call upon me and we shall see. I do not prescribe medicines, I only advise and give opinions on what you might want to try. Different things work for different people. With these word's I will perhaps leave you with something to think about " May you be strengthened by yesterday's rain, walk straight in tomorrow's wind, and cherish each moment of the sun today."

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

We must first understand the reasons why we use the materials that we will be using. All of the ingredients are natural and therefore if used in the proper way are non-toxic. The carrier oils that we will use are absorbed through the skin and will be excreted through the normal processes of our bodies. The Essential Oils that you must use should be 100% pure, not something that smells like it. We are not making perfume! The carrier oils that you choose to use for yourself can be any oil that is "COLD PROCESSED". These oils do not have the shelf life of the ones that you buy at the market, so to increase the shelf life you must use a "natural vitamin E oil", one drop for every 4oz. of carrier oil. When you choose a carrier oil you might want to ask about the other qualities of it, such as absorbency or is it also a good moisturizer....etc. Sesame Oil is a good one, it promotes healing or relief of psoriasis, eczema, rheumatism and arthritis and it is tolerated well by all skin types(so they say). Jojoba Oil is another good one. It has many of the same qualities as the Sesame and is also used for inflamed skin conditions, acne, and hair care(as we all know), this oil is highly penetrative and smells good also. Or there is nothing wrong with using Corn Oil, Sunflower Oil or any of the more common oils that you are familiar with. But remember "COLD PROCESSED" only. I am tired now so I will say "good health to all of you and stay tuned, there's alot more to come. We have only taken the smallest step on our "JOURNEY".
